Photo Declutter Challenge: Daily, Weekly & Monthly Plan
Cleaning your photo library has always been the right thing to do, but let us be honest: it was never exciting. Tidy v2.3 changes that. This update introduces a full challenge system that turns tidy photo cleanup into something you actually look forward to, complete with daily tasks, weekly missions, monthly goals, and a progression system that tracks every step.
Daily Challenges
Daily challenges are small, focused tasks designed to take about five minutes. They show up every morning, and each one targets a specific slice of your photo library.
- Clean 50 photos - A quick sweep through your most recent shots
- Review screenshots - Go through those screenshots from the past week you forgot about
- Tackle burst shots - Pick the best frame and drop the rest
Every completed daily challenge earns you a badge and Gold rewards. They are meant to be quick wins that build momentum over time. Five minutes a day, and your gallery stays clean without turning it into a project.

Ready to take the challenge?
Update to Tidy v2.3 and start earning badges with daily, weekly, and monthly photo declutter challenges.
Weekly Missions
If daily challenges are sprints, weekly missions are the longer race. These are bigger goals that span the full week and require a bit more commitment.
- Free up 1GB - Delete enough to reclaim real storage space
- Review 500 photos - Work through a serious chunk of your library
- Clean all duplicates - Let AI find them, then decide what stays
Weekly missions launched as part of Tidy v2.2, and in v2.3 they got deeper integration with the new challenge system. You can now track progress in real time, see how far along you are, and get notified when you are close to finishing.
Monthly Challenges
Monthly challenges are the big ones. These are epic, month-long goals built for people who are serious about keeping their tidy photo library in perfect shape.
Think of them as the final boss of photo cleanup. The tasks are ambitious, the time window is generous, and the reward at the end is worth the effort. If you complete a monthly challenge, you earn a Monthly Champion Card, a beautifully designed achievement card that marks you as someone who went all the way.
Monthly challenges reset on the first of each month, so there is always a fresh one waiting.
Challenge Levels and Progression
Every challenge you complete earns XP. That XP feeds into a level system with six tiers:
- Rookie - Just getting started
- Explorer - Finding your rhythm
- Specialist - Consistent and capable
- Pro - Serious about your gallery
- Master - Nothing gets past you
- Legend - The highest tier, reserved for the most dedicated
Each level unlocks new badge designs. The higher your level, the more distinct and polished your badges look. It is a simple system, but it adds a layer of satisfaction that makes cleaning feel less like a chore and more like progress.

Shareable Challenge Cards
Completing a challenge is satisfying. Showing it off is even better. Tidy v2.3 generates shareable cards for every type of achievement:
- Daily badges - A new badge earned each day you complete a challenge
- Weekly recap cards - Your stats, personality title, and highlights from the week
- Monthly champion cards - The crown jewel for completing a full month-long challenge
All cards have been redesigned with fresh color palettes and polished layouts. Share them as Instagram Stories, WhatsApp messages, or posts on any social platform. They look great without any extra editing.

Image Sizing Fixes
This one is less flashy but just as important. We fixed how photos display across different screen sizes. No more cropping surprises, no more stretched images, no more photos that look different than what you expected. Every tidy photo now appears exactly as it should, whether you are on an iPhone SE or an iPad Pro.
What's Next
