v2.1 + v2.2 WHAT'S NEW

We shipped Tidy 2.0 a few weeks ago, and we have not slowed down since. Two new versions followed in quick succession, and together they bring the most significant changes since the relaunch. Here is a rundown of everything that is new.

Sort to Albums (v2.1)

Until now, swiping in Tidy worked in two directions: right to keep, left to drop. Now there is a third: swipe up to sort.

When you swipe a photo upward, Tidy suggests an album based on AI analysis of the image. A food photo? It will suggest "Recipes." A landscape? "Travel." A screenshot? "Screenshots." You can accept the suggestion, pick a different album, or create a new one on the spot.

Gold members get unlimited sorting. All users get 8 free sorts to try the feature out. It is a great way to organize your photo library while cleaning, without ever leaving the app.

Redesigned iPad Experience (v2.1)

Tidy on iPad got a ground-up overhaul. The new design takes full advantage of the larger screen in ways that were not possible before:

Sidebar navigation - Quick access to every section of the app, always within reach
Card layout - An optimized layout that displays your photos at their best
Persistent organization panel - Cleaning and sorting tools are always visible on the side of the screen

Tidy on iPad finally feels like an app built for the big screen, not a stretched-out iPhone version.

New ways to share your favorite photos directly from within Tidy. Share as a story, as a post, or send a photo to someone. The clever part: once you share a photo, Tidy automatically removes it from the review queue. One less thing to think about.

Liquid Glass (v2.1)

A complete visual refresh across the entire app. Cleaner interface, more modern look, and simply more enjoyable to use. The change is not dramatic, but the overall feel is smoother and more polished.

Weekly Challenges (v2.2)

Every Monday brings a new challenge. It might be "Clean blurry photos," "Go through screenshots," "Tackle duplicates," or "Hit a swipe goal." Track your progress throughout the week and share the results.

Challenges turn weekly cleaning from a boring task into something that feels like a game. If you enjoyed the idea of gamification in photo cleaning, this is its natural evolution.

Weekly Recap (v2.2)

Every Sunday you will receive a recap card with your stats: how many photos you reviewed, how much storage you freed, what your "photo cleaning personality" is, and what the highlights of your week were. The card is beautifully designed and ready to share as a story or a post.

Depth and Sparkle Effects (v2.2)

The photo editor gained two impressive new effects:

Depth - Parallax animations that give your photos a three-dimensional feel
Sparkle - Shimmering effects that make your photos glow

These effects are available to Gold members only, and they add a creative dimension to photo editing that you will not find in other photo editors.

AI Magic (v2.2)

One-tap photo enhancement. AI Magic analyzes the photo and applies automatic improvements: lighting, color, sharpness, and composition. You will find it in the Fun tab of the editor. This is not a generic filter. It is a smart adjustment that understands what each photo needs.

Smarter Streaks (v2.2)

Streaks (daily cleaning streaks) got an important upgrade: an 18-hour grace window. If you forgot to clean last night, you still have until noon the next day. No more broken streaks because of one busy evening. The habit should work for you, not against you.

New Gold Plans (v2.2)

We added two new Gold membership options:

Annual plan - Includes a 3-day free trial
Lifetime plan - One-time purchase, no monthly payments

The new plans join the existing monthly subscription. Now there are more ways to choose what works best for you.

Under the Hood

Beyond the new features, version 2.1 includes over 20 bug fixes and performance improvements. Swiping is smoother, loading is faster, and the entire cleaning experience feels more stable and reliable.
