These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Tidy - Photo Cleaner ("Tidy", "the App"), developed and operated by NFO LTD ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Tidy, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Tidy, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
If you are using Tidy on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 years of age in the European Economic Area) to use Tidy. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under the age of 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use Tidy.
3. Description of Service
Tidy is an iOS application that helps you manage, organize, and clean up your photo library. The App provides the following features:
Photo Gallery Management
- Browse and view photos and videos from your iOS Photo Library
- Organize photos by date, location, and smart categories
- Identify and remove duplicate or similar photos
- Detect blurry or low-quality photos
Photo Editing
- 29 photo editing filters, including adjustments, beauty, creative, and AI-enhanced filters
- Face detection and beauty filter application
AI-Powered Analysis
- Smart photo categorization using on-device machine learning
- Blur and quality scoring
- Duplicate and similar photo detection
On-device processing: All photo analysis, AI processing, and editing happens entirely on your device. No photos are uploaded to any server.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Free and Premium Features
Tidy offers both free features and a premium subscription called "Tidy Gold." Some features are only available to Tidy Gold subscribers.
Tidy Gold Subscription Plans
Tidy Gold is available as an auto-renewable subscription with the following plans:
- 1 month - $2.99 USD per month
- 3 months - $6.99 USD per 3 months
- 6 months - $9.99 USD per 6 months
- Annual - $14.99 USD per year
- Lifetime - $49.99 USD one-time purchase
Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency in the App Store. Prices are subject to change.
Auto-Renewal
Tidy Gold subscriptions (1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and Annual) automatically renew at the end of each subscription period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price as the original subscription.
Lifetime Purchase
The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase that grants permanent access to all Tidy Gold features. It does not renew and there are no recurring charges. The Lifetime purchase is processed through Apple and is subject to Apple's standard terms for non-subscription in-app purchases.
Free Trials
The Annual plan includes a 3-day free trial. During the trial period, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid Annual subscription at $14.99 USD per year and your Apple ID account will be charged.
We may also offer free trial periods for other Tidy Gold plans from time to time. The same terms apply: if you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription.
Cancellation
You can cancel your Tidy Gold subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings or the App Store. To cancel:
- Open the Settings app on your device
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap "Subscriptions"
- Select "Tidy - Photo Cleaner"
- Tap "Cancel Subscription"
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to Tidy Gold features until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Refunds
All payments are processed by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information or the ability to issue refunds directly. To request a refund, you must contact Apple through their Report a Problem page or Apple Support. Refunds are granted at Apple's sole discretion in accordance with their refund policy.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. If we change pricing, you will be notified in advance through the App Store, and price changes will apply only to subsequent subscription renewals, not to the current active period. Apple may require your consent before a price increase takes effect.
5. User Content
Ownership
You retain full ownership of all photos, videos, and other content in your Photo Library ("User Content"). Tidy does not claim any ownership, license, or rights to your User Content.
On-Device Processing Only
Your User Content is accessed and processed solely on your device. We do not upload, copy, store, or transmit your photos or videos to any server, cloud storage, or third-party service. The App accesses your Photo Library through Apple's PhotoKit framework with your explicit permission.
Edited Photos
When you edit a photo using Tidy's filters or tools, the edited version is saved to your Photo Library on your device. You retain full ownership of both the original and edited versions.
Responsibility for Content
You are solely responsible for your User Content. We do not monitor, review, or moderate the photos or videos in your Photo Library.
6. Acceptable Use
When using Tidy, you agree not to:
- Reverse engineer - Attempt to decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the App or any part of it
- Modify the App - Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the App
- Circumvent restrictions - Attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent any security features, subscription verification, or access controls in the App
- Redistribute - Distribute, sublicense, sell, lease, or otherwise transfer the App or access to it outside of the Apple App Store
- Illegal use - Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law
- Interfere - Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App or its related systems
- Automate - Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to interact with the App
- Misrepresent - Impersonate NFO LTD, Tidy, or misrepresent your relationship with us
7. Intellectual Property
Our Rights
Tidy, including all of its code, design, graphics, interfaces, features, algorithms, machine learning models, text, and other content (excluding your User Content), is owned by NFO LTD and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of Israel and international treaties.
Trademarks
"Tidy", "Tidy - Photo Cleaner", the Tidy logo, and related branding are trademarks or registered trademarks of NFO LTD. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written permission, except as necessary to refer to our products in a descriptive, non-misleading manner.
Feedback
If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas about Tidy (for example, through support emails), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback into the App without any obligation to you.
8. Disclaimers
Important: Please read this section carefully. It limits our obligations to you.
"As Is" Service
Tidy is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NFO LTD disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
AI and Analysis Accuracy
Tidy uses on-device artificial intelligence and machine learning to analyze your photos. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that:
- Blur or quality detection will be perfectly accurate in all cases
- Duplicate detection will identify all duplicates or avoid false positives
- Face detection will detect all faces or correctly identify features
- Smart categorization will always correctly classify photos
AI-powered features are provided as helpful suggestions. Always review the App's suggestions before taking permanent action, especially when deleting photos.
Photo Deletion
Deletion is permanent. When photos are permanently deleted from your device (after the 30-day Recently Deleted period in iOS), they cannot be recovered. Always back up important photos before deleting them.
When you delete photos through Tidy, they are moved to the "Recently Deleted" album in iOS Photos, where they remain for approximately 30 days. After that period, iOS permanently removes them. We strongly recommend backing up your photos (using iCloud Photos, a computer backup, or another backup service) before using Tidy's cleanup features.
No Guarantee of Availability
We do not guarantee that Tidy will be available at all times or that it will be free from errors, bugs, or interruptions. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- No liability for data loss - NFO LTD is not liable for any loss, corruption, or deletion of photos, videos, or other data, whether caused by the App, user error, or any other circumstance. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data.
- No indirect damages - In no event will NFO LTD be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) Tidy.
- Maximum liability - NFO LTD's total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of Tidy will not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you have paid for Tidy Gold subscriptions in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $10.00 USD.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NFO LTD, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
- Your use of or inability to use Tidy
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Your violation of any third-party rights
11. Termination
By You
You may stop using Tidy at any time by deleting the App from your device. If you have an active subscription, remember to cancel it through your Apple ID account settings to avoid future charges.
By Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Tidy if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any such action, but we are not required to do so.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use Tidy ceases immediately. The following sections survive termination: Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law and Dispute Resolution, and General Provisions.
Termination does not affect any subscription payments already made. If we terminate your access without cause, you may be entitled to a pro-rata refund of prepaid subscription fees at our discretion.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises between you and NFO LTD, we encourage you to first contact us at [email protected] to seek an informal resolution. We will make good faith efforts to resolve any dispute through direct communication.
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, you agree that the dispute will be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Tel Aviv, Israel, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Exceptions
Nothing in these Terms limits your right to: (a) bring an individual action in small claims court in your jurisdiction, if your claim qualifies; or (b) seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights.
European Users
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you may also have the right to submit a dispute to the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform provided by the European Commission at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence continue to apply.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
- Post the revised Terms at tidy.gallery/terms
- For material changes, notify you through the App or via push notification (if enabled)
Your continued use of Tidy after changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you should stop using the App and cancel any active subscriptions.
14. General Provisions
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and NFO LTD regarding your use of Tidy. These Terms supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision. A waiver of any provision is only effective if made in writing and signed by NFO LTD.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms to any successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets.
Apple's Terms
Tidy is available through the Apple App Store. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's terms, Apple's terms will prevail with respect to matters within Apple's control (such as payment processing and App Store distribution).
Third-Party Notices
Tidy uses certain third-party libraries and frameworks. Applicable open-source licenses and notices are available within the App's settings.
