Tidy is an AI-powered photo gallery cleaner for iPhone, iPad & Android. It helps you clean thousands of photos using simple swipe gestures. The AI finds blurry, duplicate, and unnecessary photos so you can make quick keep-or-drop decisions and free up storage space.

Yes. Tidy is free to download and includes the core swipe game, basic photo filters, compare mode, storage insights, and session stats. Tidy Gold is an optional subscription that unlocks AI smart filters, the full photo editor with 29 filters, beauty filters, and unlimited access to every feature.

Tidy works on iPhone, iPad & Android. iPhone requires iOS 18 or later. It is optimized for the latest iPhones, but works on any device that supports iOS 18.

When you swipe left to drop a photo, Tidy moves it to the Recently Deleted album in your Photos app. This means you have 30 days to change your mind before the photo is permanently removed. Tidy never bypasses this safety net.

Tidy uses Apple's Core ML and Vision frameworks to analyze your photos directly on your device. The AI can detect blurry or low-quality images, find duplicates and similar photos, identify screenshots and receipts, and select the best shot from groups. All processing happens on-device - your photos are never uploaded anywhere.

No. All AI analysis happens entirely on your device using Apple's on-device machine learning. Tidy does not have servers that store or process your photos. Your photo library stays completely private.

Tidy collects basic analytics (like which features are used most) to help us improve the app. We do not collect your photos, personal information, or any data that can identify you. You can read our full Privacy Policy for details.

Since Tidy processes everything on-device, there is very little data stored externally. If you want to delete any analytics data associated with your device, email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and we will handle it within 30 days.

Tidy needs photo library access to display your photos in the swipe game, analyze them with AI, and move dropped photos to the Recently Deleted album. You can choose to grant full access or select specific photos. Tidy works best with full access so it can analyze and organize your entire library.

All subscription plans include unlimited access to every Gold feature. Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel before the end of the current period. The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase with no renewal.

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. To cancel:

• Open the Settings app on your iPhone
• Tap your name at the top
• Tap Subscriptions
• Find Tidy and tap Cancel Subscription

You will keep Gold access until the end of your current billing period. You can also manage subscriptions from the App Store app by tapping your profile picture.

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and find the Tidy purchase to request a refund. Apple typically processes refund requests within 48 hours.

Try these steps in order:

• Make sure you are signed into the same Apple ID you used to subscribe
• Open Tidy and go to the subscription screen - tap "Restore Purchases"
• Close the app completely and reopen it
• Check your internet connection and try again

You can undo your last swipe by tapping the undo button in the swipe game. If you already finished a session and want to recover a photo, check the Recently Deleted album in your Photos app - dropped photos stay there for 30 days.

AI filters analyze your photo library in the background and create smart collections. The "Blurry" filter finds out-of-focus and shaky photos. "Similar" groups nearly identical shots together. "Best Shots" picks the sharpest photo from each group. "Utility" finds screenshots, receipts, and quick snaps. AI analysis runs when your phone is charging to save battery.

Yes. You can open any photo in the editor directly. The photo editor is a standalone tool within Tidy that gives you access to adjustments, creative filters, beauty tools, and AI enhancement. You do not need to use the swipe game to edit photos.

Tidy includes Home Screen widgets that let you start a cleaning session or view your stats without opening the app. Live Activities show your cleaning progress on the Lock Screen during a session, so you can see how many photos you have reviewed at a glance.
